Ivette De Moya
Ivette De Moya serves as In-House Counsel at Empire Title Services and is an Associate Attorney at Breger | De Biase. She is a Miami native who attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Before studying law, Ivette was an analyst and project manager at JPMorgan Chase. Wanting to have a direct impact in people’s lives as an attorney, Ivette earned her Juris Doctor degree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, New York. As a law student, Ivette and her teammates on the Moot Court Honor Society won Second Place Best Brief in the Appellate Lawyers Association’s 2015 National Moot Court Competition. She was also honored with her law school’s Service and Achievement Award in 2017 for her leadership work on campus.
After law school, as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice for The Legal Aid Society’s Manhattan office, Ivette represented hundreds of indigent clients in their misdemeanor and felony cases. Ivette then moved back home to South Florida and gained experience in employment law before transitioning to the practice of real estate law. Ivette pairs her litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills with her passion to help her clients. Ivette is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
